Congrats on your new Stang!
Don't hang your head at all, the new V6 stang is a sweet automobile.
Just because there is a GT that has more power doesn't mean the V6 isn't sweet.
Although I have a 5 speed GT, if I wasn't able to get one, I would have no problem driving a V6 auto.
It's a Mustang.
It has great power.
And it's a Mustang.
...or did I say that already?

theres a lot of cheap mods to do to it. for example cai and tune for 500 ish will give you 25 hp
then some exhaust another 5-10

add some headers that'll help as well

if you get some take off gt stuff you could get the gt look, and with those 2 sets of power boosters and the body packages, it will look like a gt and you'll have even more hp then already in it and it will be most likely faster than any older gt...someone correct me if im rong

You guys are right about the new V-6 Mustang beating the older 5.0's. After I read some of the posts on performance V-6's that can run 12's I did some searching. The first 5.0 Mustangs 302 ci, with Holley carburator made 225 horses. I rode in one and it was new back then. I thought it ran pretty hard my self. Not even close to a new V-6 Mustang. Even newer 5.0's were down on horses compared to the V-6 of today.

One guy said something like, give me the difference in price between the V-6 and GT 07 Mustang and I'll have a 12 second car. This is true! I could say the same with the difference in price between the 07 GT and the 07 GT-500. I know now all V-6's are not created equall!
