Default 06 Mustang to Kia Rio!!!!

I'm driving this morning and all the electrics shut off in the car...radio, a/c etc. Drive straight home then, turn it off, try and turn it back over...won't start. Call Ford roadside, they send a wrecker out to tow it to the dealer, turns over as soon as he gets here. I try to leave 5 minutes later, and everything electric has turned off again, and the gearbox was locked up. So the guy comes back and takes the car...i couldn't go right then. I get to the dealer like 20 min later...no car, noones seen my car. I get irate, call up the tow company, they confirm i dropped in off at Sawgrass Ford. They say it's not there again, and tell me quote, it's not their problem if the cars not on their property. Now yes, that's true...but you don't say that to a customer who is obviously distresed. Anyway, i tell them they better get with the tow company and find my car...and they do, finally. Dumbass tow driver dropped a brand new Ford Mustang with 2k miles at an Infiniti dealer, because Infiniti does warrenty work for Ford i guess he thought.

Long story longer, turns out a wire burnt through on a wire harness and fried the alternator. I think, hard getting a straight answer. They tell me a few days to order the alternator and harness, and then a few more days. Whatever...i tell them i need a rental since my car's going to be their. They tell me without the extended warrenty i'm not covered for rental and they have to get it approved by the main office. Finally, i get it approved, go over to get it...and my prayuers are answered, a Kia Rio.

Majestic in it's beauty, as powerful as a field mouse, and built like a tank <made of crappy plastic>. Sure 0-60 takes an eternity, but that only gives you a better chance to appericiate the craftsmanship of this beast. In true race car fashion, no power anything, weight reduction yo! Sure the steering is a loose as a 10$ hooker, sure you're rolling on 14" of rubber that are about as thick as a coke bottle, sure the wheel shakes and the car feels like it'll fly apart at 70mph...but it's all part of the Kia Rio experience!!!

God i can't wait till my pony's back

Dude, sawgrass ford is a bunch of idiots, the problems I've had with them, I would never ever ever ever take my car there even for warranty. Maroone is just as bad.. I've even had problems at Plantation Ford.

Sometimes I feel it's better for me to truck my stang back to NJ to Downs Ford. Ford has the worst dealers.

Unless you bought a king ranch or a Ford GT you will be treated like **** when you call a south florida ford dealership.. I won't even let them change my oil.

I would walk. My left leg has more HP than a Kia Rio.

I have not had much luck being happy with local dealerships here myself - already been warned about Sawgrass and found out through personal experience about Maroone Ft. Lauderdale...... [:'(]

The only one I can seriously suggest is the service at Delray Ford just off 95. Two seperate occasions and had good service both times.... nothing major done (TSBs) but they were cool and straightforward and got it done right the first time.

Hope you get outta that RIO soon!

Sorry to hear about your car bro, but now to my real reason for the post.

Ok, first you need the quad maxwell house exhaust, then the alluminum picnic table maunted on the roof. Next about 7000 pounds of vynil and a 1450 shot of nozzz and you will be smokin yo, like 75million HP, oh yeah and dont forget the turbo simulator, the popoff valve mounted on the header...

Sorry, with that description of the Kia I couldnt resist.
