Billet Aluminum Fuel Doors

Billet Aluminum Fuel Doors
Anyone installed one of the SilverHorse Racing Tru-Billet fuel doors on their new stang? I understand they are the only ones on the market made from solid 6061-T6 aluminum billets, machined down to an exact fit instead of being bent or cast into shape. Not sure what the appearance difference is between the Brushed aluminum clear-anodized finish vs the Polished aluminum clear-anodized finish? Anyone got pics? Wondering which one will go with my ride.... Thx

RE: Billet Aluminum Fuel Doors
I had a UPR products billet door on my 2004 GT for 2 years, and now I have one on my 2007 GT.
The regular ones are not exactly "smooth" versus the polished ones that are very smooth.
The UPR ones look exactly like the one you are interested in. If you have polished tires, the polished door looks nice. Took me about 15 minutes to put it on.
I am very happy with it.

Michelle: any pics of your UPR billet door? Just trying to figure out which finish (brushed/satin or polished) would compliment my rims
