I got my car in the heat of the summer, and noticed the lag immediately; with the cooler weather it seems to have gone away (the lag, that is). Does a good CAI eliminate it completely? No guessing. CAI owners only please.....

A good tuner will eliminate it.

Just buy a tuner (SCT X-CAL2, Diablo, And fuego(spelling?))

The tuner will give you more HP then the CAI, and you will be able to change variables on the engine too.

I have actually contacted Brent with Brenspeed and got the low down on the throttle lag issue. He was pretty awesome to talk to and helped me out tremendously. I am actually getting ready to order an SCT Tuner; C&L CAI and possibly LT Headers for my 07 4.6. He highly recommended the C&L and SCT combo!!!! For what Im wanting to buy and the problem I wanted to fix on my stang, Brent knew his stuff!!!

EXACTLY...the tunner will make you think you have a totally different car..get it with a cold air kit at the same time and not only will the throttle lag dissapear, but youll pick up a bunch of ponies at the same time. The tunner is the absolute FIRST mod!!

Tuner and CAI...hands down the best mod you can do for that car.

I could feel the difference right away when I installed my diablosport, incredible. I was able to try out the predator before i purchased it and I was sold on it after the first corner, then went in the steeda coldair and 4.10 gears, car is definetly not lagging now! The tune is the key though.

A tuner should be a first mod. A tuner and CAI an even better first mod.

I think I would get an entire new axle to fix that damn noise from the rear!
