Raptor placement...
Kinda hard to explain, hopefully the pictures will make better sense....When you pull out the the register barrel (the part that has the vents and swivels) it is attached to the register housing. I pulled (popped it out with a screwdriver) the register housing out and and slipped the light thru it. Then I rean the wires between the ducting in the dash and the register housing. Its kinda pinching the wires but it doesn't put enough pressure on the wires to hurt anything (they slide pretty easily back and forth even with the housing put back in). Then I (this is where it seems kinda half assed to me) used some electrical tape to run the wires along existing wire bundles. I didn't want to even try splitting all the wire loom apart and running the wires there. I'd rather run it in the loom but that would be way way too much work, and as it is now you can't see the wires even if you get under the dash....The only wire you can see under the dash is the one that runs to the coil pack thru the grommet. Ill get pictures tomorrow hopefully, and it'll all make more sense.
Sorry guys...no pics today....rained alot...I live in a condo and between my car and my roommates car there isn't enough room to have the doors opened and walkin around the car takin pictures and whatnot....I'll get to it as soon as I can...
Anybody help me please, I cannot get the stupid wire through the grommet from the gromet by the clutch pedal to the one outside of the car. I tried everything, including the clotheshanger and even an extension cord with the socket cut off. Any tips on this please let me know i've waisted so much time on this and am just about to give up.
So nothsa I take it you got everything hooked up no problem? One problem I had when I hooked it up was it was set wrong. Because the spot that you are getting power from in the fuse box isn't switched, when you make a change to the rpms where it comes on, you have to disconnect the power and then reconnect it to reset the light. I didn't see the point in tryin to find a switched fuse when I don't plan on changing the rpms at where it comes on. So I guess what I'm sayin is make sure its set where you want it to be set at before you plug the power in to it. If you have any probs pm me...
