Raptor placement...

RE: Raptor placement...
I don' t know if it makes a differance but does your light go through the test pattern every time you first start your car. If not that's one reason it should be on a switched fuse otherwise you have power to the light at all times.

So nothsa I take it you got everything hooked up no problem? One problem I had when I hooked it up was it was set wrong. Because the spot that you are getting power from in the fuse box isn't switched, when you make a change to the rpms where it comes on, you have to disconnect the power and then reconnect it to reset the light. I didn't see the point in tryin to find a switched fuse when I don't plan on changing the rpms at where it comes on. So I guess what I'm sayin is make sure its set where you want it to be set at before you plug the power in to it. If you have any probs pm me...

I will do a write up on the install for you, it's very easy although I had a very hard time getting power for the shift light from the stupid fuse box. Turns out the connect-a-circuit I was using was faulty and didn't work so it wasn't giving power to the light.
Anyway it's a really easy install, the hardest part really is just making sure when you tap into the coil that you don't cut it in half and to just be careful with that. Very easy, mine is hidden in the driver side A/C vent, even I forget it's there until 6500 then BAM big red light turns on.
