Just teach her to NEVER put down the gas pedal to the floor!
Maybe you can retune it and put in a rev limiter for when she has it?
She's never too heavy on the gas pedal...she drives the Galaxie like a grandmother. It's more the "multitasking" aspect -- having to now focus on a clutch and shifting in addition to stopping and going is proving to be challenging for her. We have just gone out on local, not-very-busy roads so far, but I will fear for my life the first time we head out into traffic.
