Default Stock HP

Ok, I know this is on here somewhere and if I could figure out how to search it without going thru every thread I would, but I can't. So, would someone please fill me in on this... I have the understanding right now that Ford's rated HP for 05+ Mustangs is 300hp, is this rated at flywheel or at the wheel? I've seen it written both ways and am just trying to clear this up so I know what to expect.

I could have sworn a guy dyno'd his stock GT and it was around 265 RWHP. Time for a search!

Remember the manual tranny will dyno 10-15hp higher than an auto. Also i'm sure any one car could have 10-15 more hp than another so some might be 310 at the flywheel why others are right at 300hp. I'm sure all are atleast 300hp at the flywheel, otherwise Ford would be false advertising.

A stock mustang in charleston, s.c. with a manual transmission averages about 265 to the rear wheels on a mustang dyno tuner.

Well, I didn't realize there could be so many factors. Needless to say I'm looking at getting a vista blue gt manual of course and looking to put about 2000 into it first thing. Was planning on CAI, headers, Mac pro fit chamber finished off with the Magnaflow cat back exhaust, underdrive pulleys, diablo sport predator, and change the rear gears to 4:10. I was looking into the BBK throttle body but after reading a couple of post on here I scratched that off the list. But I really like to research something before I jump into it head on. Thanks for all the replys and inputs.
