Is there a CAI and tuner that is better than any other? And what do you guys think of Ford Racing CAI and tuner?

The hardware is the same, it's the tunes that differ. I called Doug at http://www.bamachips.com/ and simply talked to him and he was very nice to a newbie like me and explained everything very clearly. The two most widely used air intakes are the C&L and the JLT, the C&L being a higher quality unit.

yeah, what he said ^^

I just researched and bought a CAI/tuner for my '05 GT. There are many CAIs on the market - I doubt there's a real substantial difference between them. But C&L certainly seems very popular, so that's the one I got.
I bought it from brenspeed, along with the SCT tuner and brenspeed 'tunes'. Fitted over the weekend - easy, took ~1.5hrs (taking my time). Good sound, definitely better throttle response.
bamachips and brenspeed seem the most renowned supplier for CAIs - they back it up with their support, which is important in case anything goes wrong
