RE: Thinking about Nitrous - Got questions
great info for us new to n20. thanx. i do have one more question though. when tuning for nitrous will that affect everyday driving? or is a second program that u have to flash prior to going to the strip. i mean basically my question is, how will the tune know when its supposed to add or subtract timing due to a shot of n20? thanx in advance.

RE: Thinking about Nitrous - Got questions
I use Brenspeed 91 oct. tune , but use 93 oct. fuel when I'm going to use the nitrous, the timing is correct with this tune. When I'm not going to use the Nitrous I load the 93 oct. tune in and use it for my daily driving. They do make bottle heaters that keep the bottle at the proper temp. for the correct pressure, you can also get a remote bottle opener that you can activate from the inside of your vehicle. I'ts not recommended you leave the bottle open continously, I do when I'm at the track, but not for everyday driving. I've warmed my bottle up in the sink with hot water then put a heavy blanket over it in the trunk and it stayed at a good pressure for serveral hours, temp was about 60 deg. outside. I'll probably get a warmer next year, I've spent over my budget a this year, it don't take long !!!

about the same thing i do except since im a six i do the brenspeed 87 octane tune for the N20 on 93 octane fuel. CHange tuhe tune to this when i am going to go spray, then when i leave put the 93 octane tune back in their and enjoy the ride home. Blower in a Bottle!
