If he ran you off the road and messed up your car and you had a witness and he was by himself why didnt you get his license plate # when you pulled up on him the 2nd time and call the cops? Something dosen't seem right if you just let him go on his merry way after he ran you into a ditch.

I agree as well. That leaves us with three possible explanations of this story:

1) BS

2) guitarguy is a sissy

3) there are important parts of the story he is not telling us

I am leaning more towards 3 than the others. [&:]

dude i woulda gotten outta the car and bugged out, If i had to drive into a ditch. I woulda pulled a 180 right then and there and followed him to wherever he went

HELL YEAH, can you imagine if you got your girl or kids in the car! I wouldve lost it.
Not to smart in this day and age! Have you heard of "drugged out crazies with a gun"? It's best to just get his license plate and file a police report. Road rage is just not worth the price you MAY have to pay.

+1 little man with a big gun is a bad situation. If you are road raging him he could claim self defense. Best off letting the police give him a couple of points for whatever they call that kind of stupidity. He'll pay for that for 7 years a point and your insurance company can probably sue him for the damage to your car.

Oh sure it's the wrong thing to do. But if some nimrod ran me off the road because he came into my lane while "reaching for the creature of his fondest obsessions", then flipped me off; that would have sent me into a blind rage and there's no telling what I would have done. I certainly would not have just gone about my merry way though, of that you can be sure [&:]

Very true... I had a guy one time that thought I wasn't going fast enough (was doing 10 over SL) on a 4 lane bridge with no jersey walls during rush hour. (route 40, coming into St. Paul Street down town) He's flashing his lights behind me, yelling crap out of his window etc.

I was a carlength behind the guy in front of me, in my 325. He decides he's going to pull up next to me as we're driving across the bridge and start trying to run me into oncoming traffic by swerving into my lane, with my 8 months pregnant wife in the car. Ok, fine, we get to a redlight, he's got his window down, I got out of the car and smacked the f**k out of him. I hit him twice and he started rolling up his window, so I opened his door and started pounding him. I hit him about 4x before the light turned green and he pulled off. I was praying he'd get out of the car.

The people behind us got out of their cars and were cheering.

There are times when it's really hard to think. I'll give you that... Afterwards I was kicking myself for being stupid, my wife was hysterical etc. but man... some people need to get the crap beat out of them. He threatened me with a lawsuit and blah blah blah. I never heard from him again. I bet he's a little more patient next time he crosses that bridge. Blind rage can do that to you and it's not good.

I've never been so pissed in my entire life.

Some nimrod doing real stupid crap can set you off, especially if your family or friends are in the car.

Well as I said earlier in the post, where I got ran off was more of a slope than an actual ditch. If it had happended a little earlier then I would have actually been in a ditch, and it would have been a lot worse. There is nothing really too noticable wrong with the car, thankfully. When I ran across the car that revved up at me, it was a good 15-20 minutes later, in the middle of the city I live in, the incident happended on the backroads. I BELIEVE this was the same guy, but it all happended so fast there is no way to say FOR SURE that it was the same guy. It was the exact same make and model of car for sure, but you see alot of riced out civics w/ loud annoying exhaust on the road. In a city w/ 300,000 people in/around it, theres probably a lot of cars like the one that ran me off. Even though I believe it was the same guy it wasnt worth beating the **** out of him in the middle of the street for, and have it be the wrong person I beat the **** out of. Plus it would have been hard to prove I got that good of a look at the guy running off the road at 40 mph if I sent in his license plate or got into it w/ him.
