Here's an interesting appproach - the world's most expensive motor oil - because it's permanent. You never change it.

No thanks. That just doesn't make sense. Oil get dirty too, not just a loss of viscosity. Just too good to be true.

and incase some don't understand 5W-50 is 50 sae weight that has passed a sub zero flow test
the W stands for winter and the other number is the viscosity
so 5W-20 as it says to put in the stangs passed the 5W test and has the viscosity of 20 weight
I might put 5W-30 in because the viscosity is only a little higher but 50 no way not in a 4.6

Besides the fact that you change the oil to get rid of the crud suspended in the oil out, they are playing fruity disco music on a site for oil. uhhh bad idea.

Well, that's what an oil filter is for. But of course, the minute you pull the oil filter to change it, all the "permanent" oil flows out. I guess they didn't think of that, unless the filter is also permanent. LOL At 32 bucks a quart, you can't even afford an oil leak.

It's funny, because whenever I ask the guys that into serious performance about the best oil........they all tend to disagree about what is the best. I haven't been convinced to go one way or another as of yet. Sticking to Mobil 1.........for now.

Tufoil is one additive that I believe works. They have alot of solid documentation to prove it. As well as other info. The US army uses it as well I believe in some applications.

It also does wonders for manual transmissions. Smooth shifting, quiets gear noise, etc. I dont have it in the stang yet, but all my other cars use it.

It's funny, because I get a kick out of dudes that always ask about the best oil, not with any intention of using the information, but only to waste our time.
