ummm. Red line only for me. I have issues with a product as heavily marketed as royal purple. Mobil has proved to me it causes seal leaks.

Redline 5w-20 in the GT. Redline 20w-50 in my GMC with 152k miles. Redline 20w-50 in my "Daily Driver" "tweaked/hopped up" BMW with 262k miles (my GT's predecessor). Mobil 1 in my Yamaha FJR1300ABS. Redline "D4" in the GT's 5 spd. Redline in the FJR's differential.

Tufoil www.tufoil.com additive in all the above except the FJR differential. Should, just thought about it. Tufoil recomends a 10% mix in trans and differential. They recomend 8 ounces on the first oil change, 4 ounces therafter. I run 8 ounces all the time.

I take very good care of my rides. YOU CAN NOT DRIVE THE GT AS HARD AS I DRIVE THE FOUR BANGER BMW! You need to REV the BMW to get the FUN QUOTIENT up because even with camshaft, ported and polished, special ignition, special distributor, fifth fuel injector in the intake with a computer of its own, full out suspension modes, you need to make the engine SING! I've used TWENTY SIX SETS OF TIRES ON THE CAR, try that with your GT, or ANY OF THE CARS in your past? The machinist that built my engine 130k miles ago was BMW legend, he recommended Tufoil. He wasn't wrong.

What can I say? I've run into people that swear by DINO oil with thousands of miles on their engines with no issues. But, then again, they don't DRIVE them.
