How much to install your remote car starter?
So I really want to get a remote car starter, but after getting a few quotes, I'm hesitating.
The equipment is going to be anywhere from $150-$350 depending on what I buy.
I was told it will be around $150 or so just for the basic install.
Now, to bypass the security system in our cars, I was told I'd be looking at another $100 or so.
Then if I want the trunk and locks connected to it, I was told that would be another $100 or so.
So, what did you pay for everything?

what system are you using though? are you using the ford remote start system, or the viper? i think the basic remote start with the remote is around 500. Thats not including the trunk pop and extra fetures. As far as remote start i say just shop around. I want to do this mod too.

where are you from shaner?
location/market dictates remote start prices.....professionally installed you should be looking at about $265 starting for a good lifetime warranty starter installed including security bypass, keyless and trunk....keyless on fords is stupid easy....strait negative door looks....you can probably negotiate them for free if you are looking at a 2 way or something.....i do keyless and trunk for $20 bucks on fords....good luck!
