Shaker 500 shuffle

Does the Shaker 500 only shuffle songs per cd? Mine doesn't shuffle songs on all 6 cd's, only on whatever cd its on. I hope this makes sense.

that's the only thing i've been able to do to. my old car if you hit shuffle it would play any song any cd, or you could shuffle one cd also. if the shaker does this i haven't figure it out.
