One of my friends in a 2006 Civic Si said that, I gave him a 5 second head start and still beat him by buslegnths. A friend with a 2000 Supercharged GT said that and beat him by a fender [8D]
People talk ****, but most people are stupid and only look at the price tag to see if a car is fast.

After owning an SRT8 for over a year now, I can't begin to tell you how flawed your comments are. Maybe they are a dissapointment to you, but objectively they are amazing perfromance cars with everyday practicality. My SRT8 will handily beat my GT, and seat the family in comfort, and carry the necessities a family of 4 requires. It will do the 1/4 in 13.02, and brakes and handles better than my '05 GTO, and tops out at over 170 mph. Yea...it's a huge dissapointment. What an ignorant biased remark. Why cloak your opinions in BS?
As far as the run betwen you and the 5.7 300C, you should take him pretty easily. However, stock 5.7 will run anywhere from a very, very high 13 to a mid 14 as an average range. Not too shabby for a family sedan that replaced the milk-toast perfroming Intrepid/concorde line-up.
