Sure, a bigger radiator will be more efficent than a small one.

But unless you are making a ton of HP, you don't need the extra efficiency. The thermostat is going to be mostly closed and you'll never even be using the capacity of the new radiator....except, of course, for the WEIGHT.

The bigger radiator will be heavier by itself, plus it's going to be holding another gallon of coolant (or more).

He should be able to find a better replacment unit thatis more efficient in its design with out being heavier. I'm sure the stock rad, is like everything ford... cost comes first then performance

I was looking thru LethalPerformances site as I'm probably ordering my headers thru them and saw this

They have some otherss including the FRPP one, but for the price and that it still fits like a stock I would say its a good choice for a upgrade
