i own 2 radar det.

1 k40 calibre
2 passport solo S2

k40 hands down is the best on the market. and it defuses laser

Another good choice but still doesnt allow you to take unit in and out of different cars if you travel alot...If I only drove my car I would consider this unit.

From the literature I've read on various websites the Valentine outshines the rest in the majority of the tests. I don't know of other radar detectors that can detect from the rear without some sort of ext. mounting plate. In regards to jammers, and the alike they don't work period.

I always hear good things about the valentine also. Nice thing is it is upgradeable also. No Jammer on it though.

I use the Valentine 1 and for me was the overall choice.
