Let's see.... the hood scoop is a Roush, painted by Roush and available on their website. The stripes are vinyl, I got them from a company in Canada (stripetheworld.com) for $150 and it cost $150 for the installation. I'm happy with both items, however I'll warn you that the hood scoop does rub the vinyl stripes if you decide to have the run under the scoop. I'd recommend having the scoop cutout made in the center stripe during installation.

Yesterday I was washing my car and my louvers came off. I couldn't believe it. I was glad they didn't come off when I was driveing. Anyone else have this problem?

OK ordered my louvers from DGCustoms and got them last night and I am alittle worried about them being so light and only being attached with the thin strips of tape.......I could see where they could blow off or come off during a pressure wash......anyone have a idea of a way to secure them more????? I'm new to this modding stuff and being a girl I pay to have most stuff installed.....this I'm doing myself and want it to stay on.....and I agree the back should be painted....I'm going to black mine out with high gloss spray paint before installing.......so any ideas on how to make them more secure?

yes you can see and there is plenty of info here. As long as you get the louvered ones you will have slight but the mirrors work best.

just bought my SSE Generation I louvers in sonic blue from EBAY..I will update the look when I receive...they are from a local Fla company and guarantee the match or I could bring them to the shop to match perfectly.....I like the look sort of rounded like the old Shelby GT350 ....I will post pics when I get them and they are done

the 1/4 louvers look great on the new stangs but

You do lose some visibility but not much. I got my louvers from Stage 3 Motorsports. $69.95 no shipping charges and took 2 days to arrive. Had the bodyshop install them when they did the bodykit.

heres a past post ... idk whos it is but it looks real sweet and i think hes the only person ive seen take a pic from the inside it gives ya a good idea of what your going to get as far as vision..

It does restrict you a little but they look sick!
There Mine!
I didn't get them off eBay, and actually I guess the company heard about that thread and credited me $10 for sharing the story and photos. I had no idea they were reading these posts! They asked me if I could send some photos to them to post on their site.
So it pays off to show pics of your mods here!
As for Baldy, if they came off when you washed them i would want to know how you installed them. I cleaned the area of the glass with rubbing alcohol where the 3M tape would go and then peeled off the tape and slowly guided them into position. I slapped them down and pressed hard for about 10 seconds and they seem like they are stuck on there. I'll update this after I wash the car this weekend.
