Well, I think that thing is pretty cool. The fact that the builder/owner loves the car because it looks "American" makes him OK in my book. The Vauxhall is a British subsidiary(they're Opel in Germany) of GM, so it made sense that he used an ENORMOUS twin turbo Chevy big block to get those incredible hp figures. On the subject of things English, I was at my local magazine shop and was reading a British magazine(wasn't sure if it was CAR or TOP GEAR magazine) but what caught my eye was a comparison test between a Shelby GT500 and a Holden VXR500(basically a supercharged LS-2 GTO). The Shelby, despite being about 170lb heavier with slightly less torque(493 Holden vs 485 Shelby) the GT500 was a second faster to 60 and left it behind in a 0-400m drag(slightly shorter than a 1/4 mile), and they concluded it was definitely a much better "drifting" machine.......did anyone check out the latest Road & Track issue? Had the best cars for under $30K.......1) 350Z 2) EVO RS 3) Mustang GT!!!!! I think since you really can't find a 350Z or an EVO RS for anywhere near $30K(despite what figures R&T gave, I think both Japs cars where like $29,900-yeah, right!) that makes the Mustang GT the only car under an ACTUAL price of $30K the best buy........

Thats exactly right.
One thing that helps make it legal if it were in the US is that cars over 25 years don't have to pass emissions testing
