I have some Pontiac dealers as clients, and happened to sit with some GM execs and engineers at a dinner a couple of months back. No Firebird, even with the Camaro coming out. However, the GTO is scheduled to make a come back, and probably based upon the Camaro platform. GM killed the GTO (the execs I was talking to after learning I owned a Mustang said that they blew it on the GTO, there was nothing to say "GTO" about the Holden based model) -- because if they didn't kill it off, then someone would have just kept working on the Holden based model trying to make it work.

 

If the next TA looks like that concept drawing, I would definently be interested.

 

these are just drawings. I was on the guys site who did them last year sometime. My fav was this one.. of the TA

Dodge, GM, Ford, Pontiac....they are all trying to win back consumer popularity......there are so many concept cars in the works, its unreal....either way......I do love my stang but if any US manf. produces a car that looks and performs to my liking, and has a reasonable price tag, I could see myself trading in the stang.......but, key word, CONCEPT, so the stang is totally it right now!!
