I did it by removing the radiator cover and two bolts (that hold the upper part of the grill), and carefully pulling it foward. This gave me just enough room to get my big hands in there.

I removed the grille altogether by the tabs it's held in by. It's very difficult (at least for me) but they went in correctly with no damage to the bulbs or that stupid metal thing in the foglight area.
