I want to go performance this time. I already have a cai and tuner and i need some help deciding what to go with next.

 

From the looks of your car I'd say suspension, springs, LCA's, panhardbar and a couple other goodies should be about 600.

 

i would say either 4:10 gears or new pulleys

 

If you want a little more hp i would say steeda udp's for about 225 dollars and the pypes o/r h-pipe 160 dollars or so. The remaining 115 doolars can go to a suspension mod like lca or you could squeeze out a few more ponies with frpp cmcv delete plates. With these hp mods you wil pick up a solid .3 tenths in the 1/4 mile and about 15-20rwhp with a new tune.

steeda udp's=6-8 rwhp
pypes o/r h-pipe=6-8 rwhp
frpp cmcv delete plates 5 rwhp
total of 15-20rwhp for 600 dollars

 

Pulleys or Gears. If you can find some to put them in maybe headers!

 

I think the best bang for you buck mod is a nitrous kit.Most are under $600.00. I to have the same set up as you (cai,sct,flowmasters) and have looked into best mods with out the funny gas and came up with FRPP delete plates,X pipe,shorties and a retune for about $600.00.

 

4.10/4.30 gears

 

I found these Hooker Longtube Headers from Dagostino Racing for $544. Ive heard that most people have had to change out the motor mounts in order to have clearance for the LT's. Does anyone know if the Hooker Lt's would require me to do this?

the best performance mod is 4.10's. A stock gt with 4.10's will blow the *** of a Gt with cai and tune any day. I haven't seen a GT with cai and tune rip break loose on 1st gear like I have seen with 4.10s only installed.
