Suspension upgrades???
I'm about to get the BMR adjustable LCA (adjustable b/c I'm gonna get an aluminum DS) and the BMR Strut Tower Brace. My question is, is the Strut Tower Brace worth the $189??? Is it a difference I will feel in the steering? I know that the LCA is a must upgrade, but I'm fishy about the Strut Tower Brace. Plus.... I want the Tockico D-Specs, but I don't want to lower it... is that possible? Can I put on the D-Specs with the factory springs?

RE: Suspension upgrades???
whew lots of questions in 1 thread. Let me see what I can do here.
If you are going to do lower control arms do the upper third link too, its not that expensive and those three items really make a huge difference on launching and wheel hop.
Strut Tower if you are going to do suspension upgrades the STB is a worth it. It will help with body roll tremendously. Not a must though just a good overall purchase.
I am sure you can change your struts & springs without too much of a drastic change but you are going to be lower a little bit no matter what. This is a good thing and clearance really isn't an issue.
Overall if you are thinking of doing Struts and Springs I would recommend going with a suspension kit, Roush, Saleen, Ford Racing. I think Saleen has the least aggressive lowering if thats a major concern of yours. Anyway these 3 kits are about 1100 or so, while the last time I checked Tokicos were 860 alone. The benefit of the bushings and higher quality sway bars are worth the xtra cash.
Also when you change your springs it would be worth the additional purchase of a steeda or bmr adj panhard.
If you do all of these things I guarantee you'll regret none of it.
Just my 2 cents

RE: Suspension upgrades???
Poor choice of words. an STB will increase rigidity and reduce unibody flex, anyway my original point was that I don't believe its a waste of money you will notice a difference with an STB for limited cost.
