Grow some ********* and make your own decision. Obviously, a Mustang isn't for you.

Everyone has a mustang these days, and they're not that rare. A vette is pretty damn sweet, and it will get you more attention than a stang.

I love my stang, but I'd go Z06 all the way.

as far as performance goes we all know hands down the vette will win but looks goes only so far in those cars, in performance wise i would take a vette, but looks and capabilities goes to the mustang for sure, but there are also alot of s197s rolling around too so you'd have to make it your own but either car you have to make the right decision for you...good luck though

I would prefer the stang because there is some much you can do to make your stang unique and some much aftermarket things made for our cars and if you get a gt you could spend the extra you would have spent on a vette on aftermarket products to make your stang perform or stand out or both

First...Callahan, dont be an asshat. I read the corvette forums and he got many many replys over there without one retarded statement like that. A ton of people like to read and post on these forums and people like you turn them away. He was just asking for opinions.

I was in the same situation as you lovemygt. I picked the Vette because the price was right and I love the looks. Thats pretty much all it took for me. If you can get a great deal on the Z06 I would get that one hands down. The reason mostly old people drive the vette is because they are harder to afford as a younger driver due to the price of insurance. If your over 25 insurance is not that bad.

Some people say that the Z06 makes a lot of noise while driving but I have no problems with that at all. I can do 150 MPH+ without wind noise. Not like you will ever need to go that fast anyways.lol

On a side note....every time I see a new mustang I wish I had one. Its a hard decision...make sure you do your research. Good luck bro

z06 hands down.. faster, hotter.. ( stang is kickass ride to but it isd like comparing apple and orange)

if you dont mind 2 seats go for it otherwise go for a used mint 03/04 cobra... if you dont want cobra then yeah go for stang..

good luck..

oh ya, see if you can find an 03/04 cobra to drive before you make your decision. You will love that car too.

1) Z06
2) 03/04 cobra
3) 05+ GT Stang
117) GTO [:'(]

The first 3 are bad *** cars...as long as you get a good deal on one of those you will be happy.

Well...the consensus from all 3 forums is that the Z06 is the superior car. It's basically going to come down to me spending another day at the dealership driving the cars and negotiation with the dealers on the prices. If I can get a great deal on the vette I think I will bring it home....if they wont come down to the price I want I will try to work with them on the stang. I want to thank everybody on these forums for your opinions...it really did help me bring things into prospective. I will be sure to post pictures of my new ride as soon as I get home.

I just brought home a 2003 Z06 with 13,000 miles on it. Black on black. I think I'm going to be very please with this car. I got it for $25,900. They wouldnt give me what I wanted for my stang so I still have it....I dont think I'm going to sell it either.
