Default scraping bumpers?

this goes out to mainly GT owners, but really anyone with a GT front bumper.

when you park, and your wheels barely touch the stone, when you pull out, does the front end drag on the parking stone and sometimes like pop like its gonna come off?

it does for me; pisses me off so much.

If that happened to me, I would be depressed in bed for AT LEAST 4 1/2 days

Happened to me, scraped the bottom of the bumper but didn't come off. Now I have 'parking too close to curb paranoia'. won't happen again.

I've almost scraped the bumper on my V6, but the parking block thing was just barely too low, so it just rubbed the black rubber piece on the bottom of my bumper and didn't actually damage anything.

But like marguerite66 said, I have 'parking too close to curb paranoia' as well. Probably a good paranoia to develop.

Ever since I lowered my Marauder with Eibach pro kit springs I've been super paranoid about that. Now, I don't get too close to curbs, parking stop stones, or anything with it or my Mustang. It only takes hearing that sound once to make you think you're tearing the front fascia off the car and you never want to risk it again.

why do you park all the way up there anyway?
our cars are small no need to do that and risk it

I scraped my front end fascia pretty good... Next thing I know it, I was at the dealership trading it in LOL!!! Primarily because I wanted the manual trans, but it felt good to start with a clean slate again!!
