Removing GT Emblems

RE: Removing GT Emblems
its super easy.... I took mine off to put the tri-bar pony ones on. There will be 2 holes on each side once you take them off.
Get yourself a house hair dryer.....wife or girlfriend...
then get some fishing line. wrap one end to one finger and the other end to your thumb. heat the emblem up then take the string with a back and forth motion between the logo and the paint/car and work it down. you are going to have to work around the 2 post that sit into the car top by the T and lower middle left by G. Also you might have keep the heat on it alittle bit. The string might break a few times. Just take your time. I used some degreaser to clean off the residue once they where off. Any more questions just ask.

I want to go with the naked look (no emblem at all). Anyone have a suggestion on how to do this?

Very easy with a hair dryer and start at one end and lift as you heat up the #3M adhesive it will start pulling away very easily and completely from the paint then use acholol to clen the area and prep the area!

Holes need to be welded. ...only by someone with lots of experience, this steel is very thin and prone to shrinkage/warping. Panel paint match would not be a problem for a high end, experienced shop. Could get rid of antenna or switch to nice power unit in the process.
Course, 07 GT CS fenders don't have holes, but that's a rather pricey way out.
