C&L install?
Just installed the C&L CAI with Breenspeed 91 tune. Question is the directions from C&L said to take out the fuel pump and cooling fan fuses before programming the tune. Is this a necessary part of the tune? I took out the fuel pump and what I believe was one of the fan fuses, then loaded the tune and put the fuses back in. Cant believe the difference this CAI + tune makes. Should I take it to a dyno to check the air/fuel mixture or are Breenspeed tunes pretty good? Thanks.
It's always a good thing to get her dynoed and check your A/F just to make sure. You don't have to pull the fuses to program her, you just need to make sure the radio, ac, and all that stuff is off.

In my experience the Brenspeed mail-order tunes are very good (and have very good A/F) so long as you are using common mods. The C&L intake is one of their bread-and-butter products. I doubt you'll see more than 2 HP if you dyno tune it. (And that's less than the latent error of the Dyno).
Get some more mods on there (especially uncommon ones) and then taking it to the Dyno becomes a better idea.
I always assumed the reason for removing the fuses was because they did not want the fans or fuel pump to come on while you were reflashing the PCM and take a chance of a voltage drop of any kind causing a disruption or corruption of the flash process.
