Default Fuel filling on 2007's

So I know the 2005's had a fuel filling problem when it was released, and it was TSB'ed, etc, but anyone experience similar to that in their 06's or 07's.

I've only filled up my car twice. The first time, there was no problems getting the car completely full. I went to fill up today and I pumped in about 7 gallons before the pump stopped. I tried the upside down trick and still to no avail. Both fill ups happened at the same station.

Anyone else with newer Mustangs experience this problem?

I have an 06 and have experienced this a couple times. It seem to be pump related not station related.

I have the 05 that still does that sometimes, but I always seem to get it filled no matter what so it doesn't bother me too much. Here in Jersey where you can't pump your own gas lol....some guy has to do it for you and its fun watching him fight with that little bastard.

But I do agree is seems to be pump related because at the same station one pump will work fine and another will give a problem.

The newer stations are the worst because they pump gas faster into the tank then the older stations and I have found the older ones don't cause as much of problem.

I have had the problem with my wifes 06 Pony Pkg one built March of 06. And no problems with my Jan built 06 GT. I called and talk to my Local Ford Dealer. And he said sometimes some gas pumps. Have more psi and the system can't vent fast enough.

Thanks guys, I'll try to keep people appraised, but my hope is this was a fluke.

My '07 does it from time to time also... usually if I am in a hurry, or when the weather is crappy. [:@]

had that got it fixed then it came back. I found out if you turn the nozzle upside down so the handle is faced up (yes you will look like an idiot) It fills.
