Trunk opening up while driving?
haha, but seriously, it's just my keys hitting the remote? I kind of think that's unlikely, it always seems to happen when i'm just driving slowly around the neighborhood, but even if the trunk won't open if it's going 5+ mph it still makes that constant beeping noise until i get out and close it, very annoying.. i guess i'll have to pay attention to my knee hitting the button on the remote?[:@] i didn't know it was so sensitive...
happens on mine from time to time. Not theremote becaus ei killed my remote on accident in the washing machine. Dunno why it happens just does. Doesnt really open all the way though just pops and sets off the door open light but i dont every really worry about it
Feed the trunk monkey some bananas and he will stop opening the trunk [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]

You probably need to wrap more duct tape around the hands of the midget you are keeping in there so she will stop pulling on the handle.

today while driving my 2010 soft top mustang it started to rain and i noticed the trunk open warning came on, stopped closed it then it happened again it would not stay closed. i closed it then it would open over and over again. not sure what to do
10 years almost to the day . . . wow.
Anyway, have you ever found the passenger side floor wet or with standing water? What can happen is the notorious water leak and intrusion into the SJB. Which is a body control module, that if gotten wet can result in all manner of strange electrical issues.

It's behind the kick panel in front of the door on the passenger side. Easy enough to get to, but I'm skeptical about being able to get it working right short of outright replacement. Plus when you do get it replaced, they should add a shield that least directs any future leakage away from it.
You'll want to pull the little soft rubber plugs from the cowl drains (one on each side, on the engine compartment side) and there's something else can be done involving the cabin air filter or its box (I just don't remember what - do a search on cowl leak and look for a TSB). Some people just leave the plugs off, others have cut them back so that they can't shut completely (hard to describe but will be obvious once you look at them).
The leak in the earlier cars was claimed to have been fixed at some point, but I'm skeptical of whatever they did being 100% foolproof, too.
