I was just on the american racing website and stumbled upon their torque thrust II wheels in 17x9.5 (series 505) and they look like DD's and they are only 17's! Does anyone else have these? Or have any pics of them on an S197? Thanks!

 

The 17 s won't fit the GT unless you shave 1/4 off the front caliper.

I had just asked you in the rims thread what the offset and specs were on your wheels. Dumb question but was your order custom? I ahve been on the american racing website a while ago and I really wanted those wheels but like someone already posted I thought they only came in 17 wheel with that finish, which appears to be the orginal matte grey paint color.

Another dumb question, is the backspacing you listed the same as offset?

Did you ever weigh the rims, are they heavy?

Also any pics looking down the side of the car, was wondering how well they filled in the wheel well and gap?
