Why would you want a gto sticker on your car[sm=joke.gif] It actually reads GTS. I bought a set for the front and rear and one of the front ones already broke[:@]

My mistake, I cant read small print lol... but I blame it on my monitor, so its all cool. [8D] I have seen some of them with the little letters peeled off, from your judgment, would they come off easily or is it going to be a pain peeling them little suckers?

Make sure you check the local laws in your area.

I had a friend of mine with a Ford pickup that had the blackout lenses on his headlights and taillights, and the rat bastard police in his town stopped him and gave him a ticket because they were on the car. Didn't matter that this was during the day, and that he'd put brighter bulbs in...They were against the law and the cop was in the mood to write tickets.

The plastic ones would definitely be better for you in that respect, because you can remove them if you're ever stopped, and then put it on later when the cop won't harass you.
Yeah, Im not too fond of stupid laws like that.. (I have 5% on all my windows as well), but if it could say me a ticket by getting out and taking them off then why the hell not.

I got the 5% window tint on my rear lights, but they are beginning to peel out -.-

Thats another reason I didnt want the tint... alot of people have said theyve had theirs on for ages and its perfectly fine, but the fact that some peoples DO come off turns me away, even if it is because of installation... with my luck Id be one of the ones to install it wrong and then have it mess up. Then Id end up having to replace it. [&:]

thats cool i was just wondering because ive got the vinyl tint on the tails too
Yeah, Ive seen yours. Dont get me wrong, I think the tint looks good... it looks alot more natural, more like stock just darker... I just dont think I could ever get mine perfect lol.

Just thought of something... Im going to have blacked out tail lights and a red third brake light. I dont see that they make one of these for the third light... I dont really want to do vinyl on that and plastic on the tails, what do yall think?

x2!! Just take a razor tip and VERY CAREFULLY peel back the sticker logos so you can pull them off, then clean twice with simple green and they are clean and sexay!

Just use vinyl tint on the third brake light...its not like there is anywhere to hid the mounting surface flanges for it like there is for the tail lights. clean and prep really well, and take your time with a heat gun, and it will come out great.
