Quarter Windows scoops or louvers. I did louvers and love them. CAI...pricey but worth it. Plenum cover (if you didn't already get it on your 07). Braided hose kit (just enough to brighten up the engine bay but not be gaudy). Hood scoop (much cheaper and less hassle than a functional hood). Sequential tail lights. Hood struts. Interior billet aluminum items (I did climate controls, power outlet, and door pins)

These are starters and very common mods. Everything except the CAI can be done for under $250 each. And you can do them yourself.

ORIGINAL: Sprzout
Well, I just got a 2007 Mustang GT, and I need some ideas to make my car stand out a little more than the rest of the Mustangs in the area. Doesn't have to be something flashy, but something different and somewhat subtle would be ideal.

Here's what I'm working with:

I was thinking about Rally stripes, but I'm trying to keep it to where it's not going to break my pocketbook (Insurance, car payments, and my lead foot are going to soak up quite a bit of my spare cash for the next few months).

Anyone have any suggestions?
Welcome. I like the wheels you have. As I have done to mine, I suggest painting your calipers, installing a hood scoop, and ducktail spoiler to start. My hood scoop is stock but I purchased a Roush hood scoop before I even ordered my car. I like the look. Now I have 2.

That should hold you for a couple of weeks.

Sprzout- I like the idea. I originally wanted to get the Rousch louvers, but I found the scoops on ebay for $70 and I could't pass it up. I like the idea of the black hood scoop and the stripe too. I have been thinking I need some black on the sides. Like the others said there are some cheap mods for the engine bay and interior too. mwgltd.com had some nice billet stuff for the interior. as far as engine bay I agree with the plenium cover and billet accents. that is where I started . then I got the braided hoses. for more $ I got the radiator cover , chrome valve covers and a CAI. CAI it worth the $. you will notice th hp difference and it makes the engine compartment look better
