On another forum someone from Bash was saying that the wing is necessary, that it is a fully functional tuned wing

I dont know if this site was already posted here but I do remember the long threads about people very displeased with Bash Performance and how they paid thousands for a product that didnt exist. I am not taking sides, nor do I really care but there is the car that Bash finally presented at SEMA:

I personally like the car. The candy red is awesome. I know to 75% of the people on this forum the car will be too rice for them but I still think that this is one nice car.

I think YOUR car looks better...more Sinister looking...

The car is basically the concept GTR on the outside.... wing sucks [:'(] - I like the carbon fiber in the engine bay - system looks good - not feeling the interior at all

Functional my ***...do you see the size of that thing?
The only car that would be actually useful on would be an F1 car that's in high speed race conditions...other than that it's RICE RICE BABY!!

And tuned? Do you really think they put that car in a wind tunnel and adjusted the pitch and yaw angles of the wing to ensure proper down force vs. drag vs. lateral stabili...no flippin way...it's a show piece and nothing more...

Car looks nice...like the paint a lot...the side port exhausts stick out too far...and the wing is just plain craps...

not to say that I wouldnt trade mine in a second for it!

Actually maybe you should go to (since the chances of you driving one are slim to none) a GT race and look at nearly every car there. Many cars run large wings and if they took the time to tune it for the track well great. Examples oh lets see the COVRETTE Z06, um another hum oh ye the DODGE VIPER, and for a nice price round off the AUSTIN MARTIN DB9 ...... ALL of these run extremely large wings and are not F1 cars, and they are all tuned. Oh and BTW, you can tune a lot on a car including a rear wing without a wind tunnel.

I agree that I do not like the look of the wing on the car, but they can have a purpose, consider the Ford FR500GT which is a factory race car, the wing is about the same size. oh and I have had cars where the wing made a great deal of difference, its all in how its done.

just my $0.02
