i got a small squeek in my passenger door sub... also the dashboard sometimes... simple fix... twist the volume **** clockwise abouta quarter turn...

 

I have an '07 GT Conv. I have a really annoying creaking sound from the left-rear side. Sounds like a body panel problem, but dealer keeps messing with the suspension, including replacing the lower control arm, but the noise always comes back.

Oddly, it will stay silent for a short while then come back. And after I run it through the car wash, the sounds goes away until the car dries itself.

I may try spraying every joint in the rear with silicone to see what happens. I am really bummed the dealer can't fix it permanently.

UPDATE: I sprayed the bolts in the inside of the body panel where the top folds down. These bolts attach some kind of metal flap to the body side (I did not spray any of the covertible top's moving parts), and I also sprayed the bushings on the left side suspension parts. The creaking sound went away. I should have only done the bolts inside to narrow down what was causing it. If the silicone lube dries out I will try again and test on every bushing or bolt.

It's a shame Ford can't make a car that's rattle/noise free.

Dash rattle, somewhere in the air bag unit. And my joints now and then, but that's just age.
