Vortech bumped my RWHP big time!
Installed a Vortech S/C & intercooler in my 05 Mustang GT Conv. The baseline pull was 275 rwhp. Mike Wilson @ Lone Star Performance did the tuning. He got it up to 437....I agreed that he should tone it down a little.....I'm pulling 417 rwhp...an increase of 142 rwhp....very happy with it.

437 is a little much to be pulling out of a bone stock 4.6 shortblock.

Why would you want to tone it down?

Which vortech blower did you get?

Too much for bone stock? Not true! Kenne Bell delivers a consistent 443rwhp with over 400lbs fpt with their 2.6L twin screw S/C and custom tune. They stand behind their product and have engineered it very well based on the engine specs. Their are several other S/Cs out their that produce upwards of 440 rwhp without issue.

But he is right, Kenne Bell, Saleen, Whipple all have great products.

Wow that is a nice gain
How much PSI is the blower pushing?
