I alsoordered a 07 GT, Vista blue, charcoal interior, 5 speed. I placed the order 11/30/06 andwas told about 8 weeks due to the holidays. I have read in a couple of posts that the plant shuts down for a weekbetween Christmas and New Years, and also read they shut down for two weeks. Don't know which is accurate but 8 weeks or less I can live with. Been passing the time re-reading all the 05-07 posts.

 

TPA, Congrats!! The wait is horrible but nobody had my Grabber Orange so couldn't drive off the lot with one. Knowing my car was built 2 weeks ago and still hasn't made the dealer yet is tough.

 

So there is no "warehouse" of this cars, they are all on backorder? mmm... if they are selling that well how do you get a good price on them?

 

I ordered a 5 speed redfire vert on 10/26. At the time they said 6-8 weeks. I called a month later to check status and now they say 3rd or 4th week in Jan. The only good thing about the wait is, I was able to sneak in the factory nav system when it became available at the end of Nov.

 

I ordered mine on 10/09/06 and got it on 12/13/06. So 9 weeks and 2 days I had to wait for my 07 GT.
Just be patient, wait is rewarded when you get it. I know you have already an 06, but new is new.

I also ordered the identical car also.I had to order mine by the end of this month to receive it by march,when the lease of my truck is due.Where i live in canada it may be take longer to get one.

 

you can get the factory navigation on them now???? I wanted the sirius satellite option, but would certainly change to the factory navigation if I could get it!

 

You guys got more patience than I have. I couldn't wait for one to be ordered.When I was ready to buy I tracked down the one I wanted and chased after her to get her! It was just like chasing after the woman you love to marry her! Yes it is love............
