I have 2 05 stang GT's in front of my house now. The first one I found on the internet while waiting for my ordered one because we didn't think it was going to be built. Right after I got the first one, the ordered one was built so I bought it. But then again, I am talking about when you counldn't find one anywhere.

 

Maybe it doesn't take 6-8 weeks, i just got a call from the salesman and he had the Vin# for me.....only problem, since it hasn't gone out yet, the factory shuts down for 10 days.....still might be a couple of weeks until I get it. Pretty happy about that quick turn around though!

 

Stangmann, I got the Vin# from the dealer. Something is weird, I'd press the dealer for info and fast. Mine was build 30 days after order date. I ordered with stock 17"s since I was going with aftermarket 20"s but a 4 month wait seems odd for 18"s.

 

It finally got serialized yesterday how long before you think i will have it. I am thinking 2 months

 

I was told that if you get a VIN, it's on the line. Since the factory is closed the next ten days, it'll probably be about the middle of January I would guess!

 

Thanks, congrats to you also. I just call the VOPC automated system, it stated as of 12/19 my order has been released from the plant with an ETA the week of 12/27. Grabberorange07, what was your ETA? Does anyone know the accuracy of the automated systems ETA?

TPA, not sure of the ETA. Just know it had a build date and gate release on 12/6. Its with the shipping company somewhere.

 

Well, I had to resurrect this old post just to say.....IT's HERE!!! the dealership just called me to let me know that they are cleaning it right now!!!!! It's about all I can do to stay focused here at work! Picking it up tonight, I'll TRY to post pictures with the new wheels I've had for two weeks, as soon as I get them on.
