Removing fake gas cap

RE: Removing fake gas cap
You must not own a hair dryer. (lol)
I'm sure you know what you are doing and are very capable and careful as well. Even though I've used a heat gun for many things over the years I used a hair dryer simply because there is vitually no risk of accidentally overheating and ruining the paint. Most folks don't own one so I never suggest it fearing they will borrow one and then "wish they hadn't". ...you know what I mean.
I recommend the fishing line partly because "it's actually fun to use for emblem removal".

I used a a heat gun, guitar string and goo gone. I tell you what though...I have a lot of respect for two sided tape now. I will never say..."what...it's only held on with two sided tape?" That stuff is darn good for holding stuff on. I had to take a "rest" when I did my removal work.
