We've only had one day of real bad ice/snow here in Detroit, Michigan, and my experience driving it was not bad. I told myself if anything happens while I'm on the snow, it's due to driver error and not a car error. Traction control kept me in check and I could drive around just fine (even made it up an icy hill...likely a miracle). My 07 GT/CS came with BFGoodrich tires (I think g-Force T/A KDWS) but don't quote me. It's done very well so far, and I look forward to more snow to see how she does.
Hey man I'm from Sterling Hts (Michigan for those who don't know) and I don't appreciate you wishing for more snow. I've done my best to pray for NO SNOW, and its worked so far. I wouldn't drive it in the snow or even rain anyway. I park it in my garage.

Invest in some Blizzex and a 100lb bag of salt for the trunk. All better!

I do havea truck for the winter, but I was taking advantage of the weather then got a suprize on my way back home. One winter I unfortunatly drove my 79 Transam (first car had no choice). It did alright with a couple bags of sand and good tires, but the aftermath of the salt was a nightmare!

I'm not praying for snow, but I need to learn in her once at least. Before the stang I had a Subaru Outback and that thing could fly in the snow. I never shoveled the car out of any snow. Just got in and hit the gas. I need at least one experience in the Stang to know how she can handle. Sadly I don't have another ride, but hey, we've only had 1 (maybe 2) bad days of weather. Since I bet you were outside today, it was agorgeous day to take out the pony.

I know what you mean, I want to try my Mustang in the snow as well at least once. When I had the 04 GT I was able to make it up a hill while it was snowing and the street wasn’t cleared yet. With the 07 GT I ended up going sideways in the rain about a week ago but the street was very wide and empty so I was able to straiten her out before hitting anything.

I know I'm going to have trouble with my stang when it snows. I have trouble with it just after a light rain

You would win that bet. I've taken it out the last three days and loved every minute. Good luck in the snow when it comes. Just take it slow and steady, no abrupt moves.
