I use the 17's as my winter tires and got a set of custom 18x8 18x91/2 for summertime fun because I wanted a nice Directional rim.

I have the 17" split spokes and I like them more than the bullits.. theyre my favorite stock rim actually. However Ill be replacing them with bigger rims and more tire because I just think it looks better to actually fill up the wheel well. The stock 17s come nowhere close.... Also I want a fat tire out back and its way too hard to find for a 17.

I like the 17" standard bullitt wheels appearance. I prefered the grey color from the 05-06. I purchased my 2007 way before the dealer had any info on them, so I didn't know they were changing to silver color. But I have gotten used to them and like them now. They look very good with the red calipers. I keep hearing that the 17" is better for drag racing. I don't know if thats been proven yet though. Anyway I'm happy with mine.

As far as the 17" wheels & tires- so there's nothing really wrong with them then, it's just a question of taste?
Well, that's good to know, cause I was starting to feel like a LEPER seeing all the postings about "which 18" is best" , or "should I get 18" or 20", etc.

Nice car , no doubt it looks like a muscle car. Also I thought 17 inch tires were faster. I have the regular optional rim too. Though they didn't even have 18 inch ones in 2004 when mine was made. I have thought of black bullets with a silver lip but right now I'm saving for gears. It's more important to go faster now than to look good. I'm poorer than most here andI don't have the money waiting to be spent.

I had the choice of 2 identical cars except one had the bright 17's the other the fanblade 18's, i picked the 17's and like em alot. They kinda resemble the Shelby rims, and they ride better than the 18's. Supposed to be a little quicker too which is a bonus. And since everybody else is getting 18's my car stands apart without having to buy rims right off the bat.

I drove the dealer nuts trying to find the car I wanted because every one had the option wheels and I would only take the bullits. So only thing for me is the 17s.
