I was looking at some B&M's that can be installed but nothing designed for it that would not need major hacking

B&M is making a ratchet shifter for the auto that is supposed to be out in a couple months. It is listed on their web site now.-Joe http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id...=1&pid=363

Actually I believe it's just the opposite unless you just get a bad shift (read- don't shift). Typically the weakest part of the tranny is the sprague which is used when it is auto shifting and not in the picture when you shift it manually. The nice thing about the ratchet shifter is it prevents you from missing a gear. When you push up from 1, you can only go into 2, from 2 to 3, etc... -Joe

Well you won't be the first because there is already a long waiting list over at TMS where B&M actually got input throughout it's development.

yah ive been following the design of this on another forum and it seems to be a great product dont know how it will work though.... i want to see some reviews of it after it comes out and see how it works ... but they need to come up with something the stock auto shifter is so plastic and cheap looking.
