I drive around without my pants on. Is that the same thing?

well, technically if you have gas, driving without your pants on could reduce 'back pressure'[sm=icon_ladiesman.gif]

ROCK AND ROLL!

Seriously, I can't imagine driving without mufflers of some sort.

But - go for it!

yeah, removal of the stocks is decently loud, but throw in the offroad H-pipe and is loud, and it also sounds like crap.

Removing the mufflers and loosing the back pressure will reduce you low end torque...that is without question. I have experience the loss of low end torque on two separate rides by doing something like this and you really don't know if was lost until you put the muffler back on and drive it. You will not think you lost any low end torque, but you will be amazed when you put the muffle back on.
