Default My list before Racing Season

I also posted this in the 4.6 specific subforum.

This is my mod list before I hit the track this spring...

1. UDP's
2. Aluminum DS
3. Steeda Ultra lite springs (about a 1 inch lower)
4. Tockico D-Specs
(3&4 are more for street and not the drag strip)
5. BMR adjustable LCA (so I can adjust the pinion)
6. Slicks
7. Line-lock

I guess my question is do I need any more suspension stuff? I guess right now this is all I can afford so I don't wanna get fancy, but is there anything else I NEED since I'm lowering?

he doesn't NEED a UCA. https://mustangforums.com/m_1696246/tm.htm

"The first suspension mods you should consider are LCAs, Rear sway bar, Panhard Bar, and the Panhard Bar brace. These are great mods for any style of driving (street, drag, or road race/autocross).

If you want to lower your car and/or improve cornering, look at lowering springs and shocks. Note that when you lower your car you'll need the aforementioned stuff anyway. I recommend the Toicko D-spec shocks.

If you get more agressive with your handling desires and HP levels, then start with the UCA & mount, LCA relocation brackets, etc..."

CrazyAl

He knows what hes talking about

" Steeda "lite" lowering springs: $239 list price for all 4.
Toicko D-spec Shocks: $550 (shipped, all 4, from Brenspeed)
BMR Adjustable street LCAs $250
BMR Adjsutable Panhard Bar $130
BMR Panhard bar brace $100 (you can skip this if cost is a major factor, but I'd go ahead and to it at the same time as the other parts)
BMR rear sway bar $200"

CrazyAl

That's what he recommends first off for suspension

I don't know how wide the slicks are, but i'd get an adj. panhard bar since lowering the rear will shift the axle some. The bmr panhard bar really firmed up the rearend on my car compared to stock.
