Rattle with new HURST shifter
Just installed my new hurst shifter a couple weeks ago, and when I was driving last night, I heard a rattle coming from beneath the boot (i believe)---any ideas of what this could be???

RE: Rattle with new HURST shifter
Use the search tool, it is your friend! Just purchase two nuts the size of the bolt that goes through the shifter right beneath the boot and tighten them up. You will be all set, it is just those two bolts being loose making the noise.

nothsa- "Just purchase two nuts the size of the bolt that goes through the shifter right beneath the boot and tighten them up."
Are you going thison the end of the boltswhen they come out of the shifter?
notsotipykal- this is finally a good post on the subject of the Hurst shifter. Most people say tighten the heck out of the two allen bolts on the shifter, however some people myself included still get some noise.
This post finally shows that there might be an optional better fix
