It's a fuel system cleaner you can get at most auto parts stores. A similar product is the GM "Top End engine cleaner".

It does indeed work well, but I don't think there is a need for it until the engine gets a lot of miles built up. I run a bottle through the gas tank every 12k to keep the injectors clean (right before my oil change), but I wouldn't run it through the intake unless there were at least 30k miles on the vehicle.

Thats what I was thinking, at least 30k miles!

I've also heard it being referred as a "de-carbonizer" also. ( The LS1 guys love it b/c the LS1 loves to ingest oil through the PCV)

Yeah, that is another thing it does. I generally prefer GM "top engine cleaner" for de-carbonizing but Seafoam is good too.

I use some Lucas gas additive but never saw this seafoam stuff.

Maybe. It's worth a shot. It can't hurt, and it's cheap so if it doesn't help you're not out anything significant.

actually it was like twice as much as the other stuff on the shelf next to it LOL but i'll try it and see what happens - guess it cant hurt
