New tires...
Alright this blows. I have a screw in my tire. Only 25k km's on it too. Anyways I'm going to put the rear tires on the front and get something beefier for the rear like 275's. Only problem is I have no idea what a good tire would be. My car only gets about 10k km/year on it. Suggestions, experiences, etc...welcome. Thanks! Oh and it's a GT. I'd like something with some good grip.
Go to tire rack and read about all the different tires. Don't go cheap. I have BFgoordrich Comp T/A's they have a 180 treadwear (about $650 new for two tires 295/35/18 on a 10" wheel)and grip much better than my KDWS's. They will be pricey but worth it. Find out how big your rim width is and that will tell you how big you can go.

There are three major things you want to look for in a tire.
Speed rating, load index, and traction rating.
There are a bunch more properties to a tire than this but I think what your looking for is a way to determine the traction capability of a tire and the speed in which it can be driven and how much weight it will carry.
Manufactures of tires in the US all make tires essentially the same way with the same ratings so it's a matter of tire preference vs cost for the same rated tire.
Look for those three things in a tire and your headed in the right direction. Hears some help.

Personally, for a street car I prefer to have all of my tires be the same brand/design/tread pattern. If I wanna hook up at the track, that would call for a set of DR's on a separate pair of properly sized matching rims (that's strictly my opinion).
Read up on all that you can before deciding...
