Default Lowering shocks and struts

Does anyone know of other brands of lowering shocks/struts for the 05 Mustang? I am putting the Eibach Pro-Kit on and the only shocks/struts I have heard of are the Tokico's. I do not plan to do any road racing. Just wondering if there are any other good shocks/struts out there that do not cost so much.

There are a few brands:

FRPP (Ford Racing Performance Products)
Roush
Saleen

...and of course the Toickos you mentioned. I would avoid the Saleens for sure, they have pretty poor valving. Several people have compained about poor ride quality with them unless you are REALLY pushing the car hard.

I think the Toickos really are the best choice becasue you can set the ride how YOU want it, according to your preferances and your driving conditions. You can get them for about $540 shipped to your door (Brenspeed).

I hear the roush setup is pretty dialed in right out if the box and has a nice modest 3/4" drop to keep pinion angles, axel centering, and the roll center within reason. Beyond that amount of drop alot of changes need to be considered imo.

I would not mix brand though unless you have adjustables.Forexample.Use roushshocks with roushsprings.Or d-specs if you are going to mix and match.

What about Steedas? has anyone tried them? I think they are fairly new product.

I'm happy with my FR3 Suspension Pack. I like the ride and the stance of my ride.
