Wait scrming i dont understand what you mean by offset?

Looking at the red LCA you can see that the arm is in the center of the bracket... but you can also see that it's on a bit of an angle going to the front (chassis) bracket. Looking at the silver LCA you'll noticed that the arm is over to the right side of the back (axle) bracket, it's "offset" from the center... and the front is actually on the left side of the front bracket... this allows the LCA to be straight and square where as the red one has the splayed angle... which in my case appears to have been causing the LCA to bind...

Here you can see the silver LCA before it was installed... notice how the the LCA is not centered on the bushings...

So where did you buy your offset LCAs from, if I may ask?
Got them from MRT back in December... full write up on these are at: http://www.v6john.com/Main/Performan...suspension.htm

plus 1 to crazyAl. Another good brand is Spohn. I have a set of those and love them. They are basically the same as BMR and the quality I would say is the same also. They are all pretty close to price but like CrazyAl said, you first have to decide if you are going to lower or not. If you get solid LCA's and decide later down the road to lower you are not totally screwed (parden the word) as you can purchase an adjustable upper control arm to fix your angle. Most will say to buy the adjustable lower b/c they are easy to get to for adjustments.

just my 2 cents, and get what you like or feel will suit your needs best. Good Luck

Yeah, Spohn is another good brand whose construction style is exactly the same as BMR.

Kaldar, I wouldn't worry much about the offset. The vast majority of LCAs on the market are either offset or properly angled already. It's not something you really need to worry about becasue all the brands people are discussing here already take this into account. A year ago it may have been a concern. Now it's not.

I just noticed in the first pic with the Spohn lca, its is installed backwards, you should have the poly mount installed at the body and the rod end on the rearend. Thats why it appeared to be binding.

Yep, you would think that... As a matter of fact we tried to put them in the other way... but the chassis bracket is smaller than that axle bracket... and there is no way the the poly end was going to fit in the smaller bracket... If it was me doing the install I would have said I put them in backwards...but that was not the case... the poly end did not fit...
