How do you remove the side mirrors and window trim. I want to get them painted. thanks

Wow ... Awesome write ups guys!!! Just what I was looking for too and took me 15 seconds to find in a search!!

Can I paint them myself in the garage with paint from the autoparts store and expect a good, durable finnish??

I don't know about you, but I'm terrible at painting. I would not even attempt it. I btought it to a body shop and had them paint the mirrors, the CDC spoiler, fill in the antenna hole and paint the fender where the antenna used to be. The color match was perfect.

 

yeah I am going to do all the sanding but painting is beyond me. it takes lots of practice to get good. and I don't want to practice on this car
